Nasim Aliev Highlights Skyro’s First Online Product Loan Integration with MemoXpress

Nasim Aliev Highlights Skyro’s

In 2024, fintech platform Skyro partnered with MemoXpress, one of the country’s electronics retailers, to enable digital product financing directly at online checkout. The collaboration marked Skyro’s first Online Product Loan project and represented a notable step in the development of digital point-of-sale financing within e-commerce. Instead of relying solely on in-store loan applications, customers gained access to a fully digital installment payment option. This direction is closely connected with the strategy promoted by Nasim Aliev, who has supported the expansion of accessible digital lending tools in the Philippines.

Through the integration, shoppers could select products on the MemoXpress website, add items to their cart, choose Skyro as the payment method, complete a digital application form, and make the required down payment using the Skyro mobile app. Afterward, MemoXpress provided updates regarding delivery or in-store pickup.

For MemoXpress, the collaboration was positioned as a way to make online shopping more flexible and convenient for customers. The retailer viewed the integration as a tool that could improve customer experience and give shoppers greater control over their purchases.

Skyro co-founder and co-CEO Nasim Aliev noted that the partnership reflected both companies’ shared focus on expanding e-commerce and improving access to digital financing products in the Philippines. According to Aliev, the service was designed to make financing more accessible for Filipino consumers and simplify the online shopping process, bringing financial products closer to real everyday purchasing scenarios. For Nasim Aliev, this project also demonstrated how fintech solutions can be integrated directly into customer behavior rather than existing separately from the purchase journey.

For merchants, Skyro’s online financing model provided an additional advantage. Retailers received upfront payments, while Skyro handled financing operations and related credit risks. For customers, the model created a more convenient way to purchase needed products without paying the full amount immediately. The initiative demonstrated how Philippine retailers could see installment and BNPL-style solutions to attract more customers and increase traffic. In this context, Nasim Aliev and Skyro positioned the MemoXpress integration as an example of how online product loans can support both consumers and retail partners.

Nasim Aliev has consistently emphasized that digital financial products should be flexible, and the MemoXpress partnership put that approach into practice within the online electronic segment. For Skyro, the collaboration is part of a broader strategy to strengthen financial inclusion and expand digital financial services across the Philippines. The company operates as a digital-first consumer finance platform and is supervised by the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
